June 10th is "Iced Tea" Day!
Every year on June 10th, it is "National Iced Tea Day," which originated in America.
This commemorative day was established in honor of the history of iced tea being first served at the 1904 St. Louis World's Fair, and in the United States, it has become known as "National Iced Tea Day."
In Japan, in 2025, the Japan Tea Association has officially designated and registered June 10 as "Iced Tea Day," following the example of the United States.
At the St. Louis Expo in the United States, a British tea merchant was promoting it, but due to record-breaking heat, warm tea was ignored, so they served it chilled with ice, which was very well received and became a classic in America.
