Insects in TOKYO SKYTREE TOWN ® ~Insects, the Earth, and Everyone's Future~
The Big Insect Exhibition in TOKYO SKYTREE TOWN is being held to encourage children to become interested in a variety of insects by actually "seeing, touching, and learning" about them.
There is a "Forest of Interaction" where you can interact with rhinoceros beetles directly, as well as a wide selection of insect specimens that you normally can't see.
The live exhibits include the ever-popular Hercules beetle, as well as cute-to-see caterpillars and hairy caterpillars, the giant ant Paraponera, and honeypot ants that store nectar in their bodies.
We also hold a variety of events from time to time that are useful for independent research, such as specimen classes, craft classes, and workshops.
There's a lot of fun and educational content for parents and children to enjoy together. Enjoy the world of insects to your heart's content!
