® TOKYO SKYTREE TOWN will hold the 'Uchimizu' event at the 1st floor Sorami-zaka Hiroba to cool off during the hot summer.
"Uchimizu" is one of Japan's historic customs, originating not only as a way to ease the summer heat but also as a stylish way to welcome guests comfortably.
While 'surimizu' is gaining attention as an environmentally friendly heat countermeasure that does not use electricity, Solamachi uses stored rainwater to further promote 'eco-friendliness.'
Also, this year, new icicles have been installed. We will provide a space where you can enjoy viewing and feel cool by touching.
We have ladles and buckets available, so anyone is welcome to join in with ease.
