Saihate Tahi's "Poetry Planetarium" is screened for one month only
■ The words of poet Tahi Saihate flash across the night sky at the planetarium
In the star-filled night sky, words appear and disappear in time with the reading. Fragments of poetry fly among the stars and bounce above the constellation lines...
The words of Saihate Tahi, who has written many poems about constellations and the universe, leap out of the book and light up the planetarium. Eight poems, including some newly written, weave together "Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter, and the Starry Sky of the Distant Future."
A 3,000-year-old story that the ancient Greeks discovered in the night sky, and a future universe that no one knows yet, unfolds in the form of poetry and fills the field of vision.
The explanations of the myths that connect the poems are all in the poet's own words.
Enjoy this new planetarium where you can experience the poetry that twinkles in the night sky.
Includes an original postcard designed by Shun Sasaki
The design of this work was created by graphic designer Shun Sasaki, who has been responsible for the cover designs of many of Saihate Tahi's books and the exhibition layout of her poetry.
In his collaboration with Saihate Tahi, he has been highly praised for his method of visually expressing the space and lingering impression of poetry.
This time, Planetarium Tenku will be offering an original "Poetry Planetarium" postcard exclusively.
