Excellent designated global warming prevention business
What is a "Top-level Business Establishment"?
Rising is a system based on the Tokyo Metropolitan Ordinance on Environmental Preservation that recognizes business establishments that are particularly outstanding in their measures against global warming, such as the performance of their building facilities and the operation of energy-efficient equipment.
Certified businesses will have their emissions reduction obligations relaxed, which the Tokyo Metropolitan Government imposes on businesses that emit a certain amount of carbon dioxide or more.
Overview of efforts to reduce environmental impact
TOKYO SKYTREE TOWN 's development philosophy was to be "an information station for water, greenery, and reduced CO2 emissions." Although the development was centered on commercial facilities, the goal was to promote CO2 reduction throughout the town by involving tenants.
Since its opening in May 2012, the facility has held monthly CO2 reduction promotion meetings to realize its development philosophy, and has engaged in energy management activities to reduce the facility's environmental impact, achieving results such as reduced CO2 emissions.
