Inside the museum, there are many events such as panel exhibits where you can learn about the Ogasawara Islands and a quiz rally where you can win stickers. In addition, they have started exhibiting the rare Ogasawara endemic "mai-nai" snail. The mai-nai cheesecake, which is based on the mai-nai snail motif, is a must-try. They also sell food menus with tropical flavors that will make you feel like you are on a southern island.
The museum shop offers a wide range of Ogasawara specialty seasonings and sweets imported from Chichijima and the Ogasawara Islands. Come to SUMIDA AQUARIUM during the hot and humid rainy season to experience the southern island atmosphere.
