From the 4th floor of East Yard" Tochigi Satellite Shop Tochimaru", it is an announcement of the "introduction of cities and towns" project in Tochigi Prefecture.

This time it's "Kamimikawa Town". It will be held from August 2nd (Sat) ~ 6th (Wed) at the event space in the store.

Kamimikawa Town is located in the southeastern part of Tochigi Prefecture, on the north side of the Kanto Plain. While adjacent to Utsunomiya City, the prefectural capital, the peaceful countryside spreads out, and three clear streams, the Kinugawa River, the Egawa River, and the Tagawa River, flow through the town, creating a beautiful waterside landscape.

In this event space, we will introduce the event "18th Kamikawa Sunflower Festival" that will color the end of summer in Kamimikawa Town. Approximately 100,000 sunflowers bloom on the entire 3-hectare field, and you can enjoy beautiful scenery that cannot be seen anywhere else. We will also be holding a photo contest on Instagram as we did last year, so please join us.

The "Kamikawa Sunflower Festival" is scheduled to be held for two days on August 23rd and 24th. We look forward to your visit.
