East Yard 4th floor "Tochigi Satellite Shop Tochimaru" is a gift of the "City and Town Introduction" project in Tochigi Prefecture.
This time we will introduce "Ashikaga City". It will be held from 10/25 (Sat) ~ 31 (Fri) at the event space in the store.

It is only about 1 hour from the Tokyo metropolitan area. Ashikaga City is located in the southwestern part of the prefecture, where history, culture, and nature intersect moderately. It is the hometown of the Ashikaga clan, who opened the Muromachi shogunate, and the main hall is a national treasure, and there are many temples and shrines related to the Ashikaga family in the city. In addition, you can enjoy a variety of landscapes and cultures, such as Japan's No. 1 Historic Site Ashikaga School and Japan's three major illumination flowers and light paradise "Ashikaga Flower Park". And on 10/31 (Fri) ~ 11/16 (Sun), the "Ashikaga Lantern Story 2025" will be held, a major autumn event that will decorate historical and cultural properties and townscapes with lights.

During the event at Tochigi Satellite Shop Tochimaru, this "Ashikaga Lantern Story" will be introduced on a large scale. On 10/27 (Mon.), we will be holding an SNS follow-up campaign and giving away a limited quantity of Ashikaga City goods!
