TOKYO SKYTREE TOWN will be holding a variety of New Year's events from Sunday, December 26, 2021 to Friday, January 7, 2022.

To welcome the new year, TOKYO SKYTREE will be lighting up with special New Year lighting inspired by the Japanese flag. On TEMBO DECK, TOKYO SKYTREE official mascot Sorakara-chan will be welcoming everyone dressed in gorgeous formal attire. Also, at TOKYO SKYTREE TOWN, a lion dance will be performed to the sound of traditional Japanese music, in hopes of keeping everyone healthy and safe from illness. In addition, there will be many other events to celebrate the new year, including a spectacular calligraphy performance by calligrapher Taketoshi Suzuki, who is from Sumida Ward, and a live comedy show, perfect for getting the laughs started in the new year.
