TOKYO SKYTREE TOWN will be holding a variety of New Year's events from Tuesday, December 26, 2023 to Monday, January 8, 2024 (national holiday).

To welcome the New Year, TOKYO SKYTREE (R) will be lighting up with special New Year lighting inspired by the Japanese flag and will be welcoming guests with TOKYO SKYTREE official mascot Sorakara-chan dressed in gorgeous formal attire.

At TOKYO SKYTREE TOWN, there will be a lion dance performed to the sound of traditional Japanese music to pray for good health and safety. There will also be a spectacular calligraphy performance by calligrapher Taketoshi Suzuki, who is from Sumida Ward, and a number of other uplifting and cheerful events to enjoy.
Postal Museum Japan will also be holding a New Year's event.
