About the "TOKYO SKYTREE TOWN Partial Solar Eclipse Observation Event"

At TOKYO SKYTREE TOWN, you can see the "last solar eclipse of the Heisei era" on January 6th, followed by the "first solar eclipse of the Reiwa era" on December 26th.
To mark this occasion, we will be holding a partial solar eclipse observation event with the cooperation of Vixen, a comprehensive optical equipment manufacturer.

The solar eclipse on December 26th will be a "partial solar eclipse," and within that, you will be able to observe the rare sight of the Sun gradually eclipsing at the beginning of the eclipse, then reaching maximum eclipse, and finally sinking below the horizon while still remaining eclipsed, known as a "tilt eclipse."
