Introducing the seasonal high-quality sweet "Tetsusen"!!

期間:2026年5月16日 ~ 2026年6月10日

Here are this month's offerings of traditional Japanese sweets.

Confectionery name: "Clematis"
Purple nerikiri: Filling is smooth bean paste.
Price: 540 yen (tax included)

Usually it's clematis, not iron wire.
I'm being called.
Because the flower vines are as strong as wire.
It was apparently named "Tessen" (iron wire).
The six-petaled flowers, characterized by their white and purple hues, are lovely.
I made it into a traditional Japanese sweet, fitting for the occasion.

The beautiful flower shape is used as a pattern for kimonos,
It's also popular as a material for fresh flower arrangements.
It belongs to the same family as morning glories and grapes, and is a "vine."
Known as the "Queen of Plants," it produces beautiful flowers.
I will make them bloom.
The flower's meanings are "beauty of spirit" and "traveler's joy."
"Ruse"
In Europe, they plant them at the entrance of shops.
I wish travelers safety.
Because it has tough vines, it symbolizes a strong bond or connection.
A lucky crest representing attachment, often found on bridal attire.
The patterns depicted.
The endlessly growing vines suggest longevity
It embodies wishes for longevity and prosperity of descendants.
Yes, they are.
Because the vine is as strong as iron,
It also means that it cannot be cut.

At the Kita family's shop, four types of traditional Japanese sweets are sold every month.
I'm making (nerikiri) sweets.
Reservations and custom orders are also available.
